The Latest Newsletter

Hello again, I am Norman Wright and it is nearly a year since I produced my first ever newsletter for the Branch. Since then time has marched on so quickly that another has just not been possible. However, now that this year’s course is almost completed, more of my time can be directed toward OUSA business. Top of the list has been to get this latest newsletter out.

ATTENTION - - WE NEED YOUR HELP
To Fill the Following
Vacancy
Weald Branch Chairperson

Over the past few months, we have, apart from our normal meetings, managed just one venture into the countryside for a “pub walk”. Whereas the weather was not very kind, the only two members who ventured out had a thoroughly enjoyable walk across farmland, through woods, and beside the river around Penshurst. We were then lubricated and recharged by ‘Speckled Hen & Pub Lunch’ at the Leicester Arms public house in the centre of the village.

We were the lucky one’s.

Hopefully see you next time

Meetings

All future meetings will be held at the “Humphrey Bean Pub” on Tonbridge high street. Unless otherwise stated members are invited to gather from around 19.00 hours for a 19.30 hours start.
This decision has been made on the grounds that meetings to date have attracted good attendances at this venue.

Wednesday 8th. November. (2007)
Tuesday 16th. January. AGM
Wednesday 21st. February
Then 3rd. Wednesday of every month.
